Doyle Collins Math Award

Mr. Doyle Collins taught at Abundant Life School from 1990 to 2006.  He was instrumental in increasing the level of math instruction at ALS.  He passed away in the summer of 2016 after a long battle with cancer.  He left behind a legacy that included many students who developed an to persevere through difficulties in order to have success.


In the 2016-2017 school year, an award was created in his memory.  This award will be given annually to an exemplary high school student in the area of mathematics.  This year's winner is senior, Claire DeBusk.  Claire completed the math program's honors track and is in the top 5% nationally based on ACT Math section scores.


Congratulations, Claire!  To Mr. Collins, we say, "Way to go, Randy!"

Wilson Award Winner

Erin Wadley, Class of 2012, was recently named Arkansas State University's top graduate.  She was honored as the Wilson Award winner at the commencement exercises in May 2016.  She is pictured with Earl Morris (right, Class of 2011 and 2015 ASU Wilson Award winner) and Robert Morris (left, Class of 2014).  We are proud of you!
